What is the Academic Policy Board?
The Academic Policy Board (AcPol) is responsible for gathering student opinions on the University’s general education program and other matters affecting students’ educational experiences at Hollins. Additionally, the Academic Policy Board administers the Independent Exam System, distributes Short Term scholarships and funds for academic conference attendance, gathers student input for tenure and promotion proceedings, and serves as student representatives on University committees.
